Internships in Germany

The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry has established cooperation with the group of Marienhaus hospitals operating in the western part of Germany. Thanks to that, General Medicine students may complete part of their clinical rotations in the 6^th year in Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Internal Medicine and Practical Medicine in these hospitals anytime during the year. Accommodation and boarding expenses will be covered by Marienhaus, other expenses must be paid by students.

Requirements:
·         Completed 5^th year of General Medicine
·         Optimal level of German language – B2
·         Good study results

Maximum length of clinical rotations in the 6^th year courses:
·         Gynaecology and Obstetrics II – 2 weeks (potentially 5^th year course Gynaecology and Obstetrics – clinical training)
·         Surgery II – 4 weeks
·         Internal Medicine IV – 6 weeks

Applicants must submit the following documents in German language at the Student Department:
·         CV
·         Cover letter
·         Language skills certificate (may be issued by the Department of Foreign Languages)
·         Suggested term and department for clinical rotations (min. length – 1 months)
